Tom Clancy was born on April 12, 1947, which makes him an Aries (they like to be the boss!). He is one of only 3 writers to have sold 2 million copies on a first printing in the 1990s (the other two were John Grisham and J.K. Rowling). Tom Clancy’s novel Clear and Present Danger  sold 1,625,544 hardcover copies, making it the #1 bestselling novel of the 1980s.
